NIA Exposes Dangerous ISIS Conspiracy

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has revealed a significant and alarming conspiracy linked to ISIS. A charge sheet has been filed against a doctor and two of his associates in a special court in Ahmedabad. They are accused of plotting to spread terror on a large scale using 'biological poison' in public places.

Details of the Charges

An official statement provided insights into the case. It confirmed that the charge sheet was submitted in a special NIA court located in Ahmedabad. The accused have been identified as Dr. Syed Ahmed Mohiuddin from Hyderabad, along with co-accused Azad and Mohammad Suhail from Uttar Pradesh. According to the NIA, the suspects coordinated their efforts under the guidance of foreign handlers associated with the Islamic State, recruiting impressionable youth to support jihad and radicalizing them to spread terror through banned weapons and bioterrorism.

Plans to Use Ricin

The statement further elaborated that the accused intended to utilize ricin, a highly toxic substance derived from castor beans, to execute ISIS's nefarious agenda. Ricin is classified as a chemical weapon under Schedule 1. This case was initially registered by the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) following the arrest of Dr. Mohiuddin in November 2025.

Arrest and Investigation

Dr. Mohiuddin, who obtained his MBBS degree from China, was apprehended at a toll plaza when illegal weapons, a bottle containing four liters of castor oil, and other incriminating materials were discovered in his vehicle. The ATS's investigation led to the arrest of two additional suspects on the same day.

Case Handed Over to NIA

Originally filed by the Gujarat ATS, the case was later transferred to the NIA due to its severity and international implications. The filing of this charge sheet has tightened the legal noose around the accused.
