NIA Files Charges Against Five in Gurugram Bombing Case Involving Goldy Barar

Charges Filed in Gurugram Bombing Incident
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has submitted a chargesheet against five individuals in connection with the bomb attacks that occurred in December 2024 at two clubs in Gurugram, Haryana. Among the accused is Goldy Barar, a designated terrorist based in Canada and a key figure in the banned Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) organization. According to an official statement, the chargesheet has been filed under various provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), the Explosive Substances Act, and the Arms Act.
The allegations indicate that Goldy Barar, along with Sachin Talian and Ankit Bhavish Randip Singh, also known as Randip Malik, who resides in the United States, were involved in the attacks. While three of the accused have been apprehended, Goldy Barar and Randip Malik remain at large. This case pertains to the bomb blasts that took place on December 10, 2024, at the Warehouse Club and Human Club located in Sector 29 of Gurugram. The NIA's investigation revealed that these attacks were part of a larger conspiracy orchestrated by BKI to incite communal tensions and destabilize the region through planned acts of violence.
The agency has accused Goldy Barar and his associates of being involved in extortion, financing terrorism, and procuring weapons and explosives. The NIA claims that their objective is to instill fear and undermine India's integrity, security, and sovereignty. The investigation is ongoing as the NIA continues to probe the extensive network involved in this conspiracy.
