NIA's Investigation into Hizb-ut-Tahrir Activities

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) launched operations on Saturday in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan to probe the terrorist conspiracy linked to the banned organization Hizb-ut-Tahrir (HUT), which aims to radicalize Muslim youth.

According to officials, the NIA executed three searches in Bhopal and two in Jhalawar, Rajasthan, as part of its investigation into the activities of HUT and its members.

A statement from the agency indicated that these raids were conducted under a case registered by the NIA. The agency has been actively working to dismantle various terrorist and extremist groups attempting to create chaos in India, particularly focusing on HUT's plot to radicalize and recruit vulnerable Muslim youth.

The statement further revealed that these youths were being incited to overthrow India's democratically elected government and establish an Islamic regime governed by Sharia law. During the searches, NIA teams confiscated digital devices that will be sent for forensic analysis.
