NHRC Takes Action on Complaint from Rameshwar Dayal


Dhoulpur, March 26, 2026 – The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has stepped in regarding the incomplete and biased investigation of FIR number 203/2022 filed by Rameshwar Dayal from Khinnot village. This action follows complaints about violations of the SC/ST Act and human rights.


On March 25, 2026, the NHRC reviewed the complaint submitted by Rameshwar Dayal on September 11, 2025, and has issued strict directives to the Superintendent of Police in Dhoulpur.


NHRC Directives (March 26, 2026):


1. The complaint should be forwarded to the relevant authority (SP Dhoulpur).


2. Appropriate action must be taken within four weeks.


3. The complainant (Rameshwar Dayal) should be informed of the actions taken.


4. A report of the actions must also be submitted to the commission.


In the letter sent to the SP of Dhoulpur, it was stated:


"This complaint/information was received from Rameshwar Dayal. After reviewing it, the commission has directed that the relevant authority take appropriate action and inform the complainant of the actions taken."


Allegations by Rameshwar Dayal:


1. The investigation of FIR 203/2022 is incomplete and biased.


2. The investigating officer failed to check mobile locations (both police and their mobile devices).


3. Witness statements from July 25, 2022 (under Section 161 CrPC) were ignored.


4. Violation of Section 4 of the SC/ST (POA) Act 1989 – the FIR was not sent to the special court in a timely manner.


5. Complaints registered on the Rajsamprek portal have been pending for years.
