Additionally, the Ministry of Defence announced on Wednesday that Operation Sindoor is a strong testament to India's unwavering commitment against terrorism. The ministry highlighted that the Indian Armed Forces executed a planned and decisive strike targeting terrorist bases in Pakistan with precision and professionalism. In a New Year review statement, it was mentioned, "This operation has sent a clear message to the world that India will not tolerate terrorism, and those who sponsor it will face serious consequences."
A Historic Moment in India's Military History
The statement further noted, "This operation will be remembered as a pivotal moment in India's military history, symbolizing military precision and national resolve." Operation Sindoor was launched on May 7 in response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack, which resulted in the deaths of 26 individuals and the elimination of at least 100 terrorists.
