The video was shared on social media by a traveler who documented his experience at the Double Decker Bridge. Upon reviewing his footage days later, he discovered that Raja and Sonam were visible in the background, climbing the terrain. Notably, Sonam was wearing a white shirt that matched the one seen in CCTV footage near Raja's body, discovered on June 2.
Details from the Trip
Devendra Singh, the individual who posted the video, mentioned, "I visited the Meghalaya Double Decker Route Bridge on May 23, 2025, and recorded this footage. While reviewing it, I noticed the couple from Indore. It was around 9:45 AM when we were descending, and Raja and Sonam were ascending after spending the night in Nogrit village."
He expressed his sorrow, stating, "This might be the last footage of them together. Sonam was in the same white shirt found with Raja. Seeing Raja in the video was heartbreaking; he appeared normal, unaware of the fate that awaited him. I also have another video showing three other individuals from Indore who began their journey 20 minutes earlier and were later apprehended by the police."
