New Railway Station Approved Near Khatushyamji Temple to Enhance Connectivity
Enhancing Access to Khatushyamji Temple
A significant announcement has been made for devotees visiting the renowned Khatushyamji Temple in Rajasthan. The central government has granted approval for the construction of a new railway station aimed at improving rail connectivity in the area. This station will be located in the Sundarpura region and is expected to be completed within the next year.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw revealed this project, emphasizing the government's commitment to enhancing transportation facilities in response to the increasing number of pilgrims visiting Khatushyamji. The new station is anticipated to provide greater convenience and save time for travelers heading to the temple.
According to reports, the proposed Sundarpura railway station will be situated approximately 11 kilometers from the temple. It will be equipped with modern amenities, including a waiting hall, a digital ticketing system, ample parking, and improved platform facilities.
Officials from the railway ministry noted that this initiative will not only boost religious tourism but also create new job opportunities at the local level. Construction is expected to commence soon, with directives to complete the project in a timely manner.
Local residents and business owners have welcomed this decision, expressing that the new railway station will increase the influx of pilgrims to the area, thereby strengthening the local economy. Additionally, it is expected to alleviate pressure on road transport, making travel more convenient.
However, some experts suggest that due to the distance of the station from the temple, there will be a need for further improvements in final connectivity to ensure that devotees do not face any inconvenience.
Currently, this project is viewed as a crucial step towards the development of the Khatushyamji area, with expectations of positive impacts in the future.
