A significant transition in leadership was marked today as Mrs. Vandana Chadda officially became the President of the Dalhousie Municipal Council, while Mrs. Reena Singh Jaryal took on the role of Vice President. The oath-taking ceremony was presided over by Mr. Anil Bhardwaj, the Returning Officer and SDM (Civil) of Dalhousie, who administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected officials.
The event was further distinguished by the attendance of Mrs. Asha Kumari, a senior Congress leader and former Education Minister, whose presence added to the ceremony's significance.
