Inauguration of HRTC Bus Service

Today marked the launch of a new bus service by the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) in Sahoda village, providing essential transportation for the local community. The service was inaugurated by HRTC Vice Chairman Ajay Verma, who was joined by a large crowd of villagers and representatives from the panchayat.


Route & Schedule: This new bus will run from Dharamshala to Tanda via Sahoda, with daily departures from Sahoda at 11:30 AM.


The introduction of this bus service comes in response to the long-standing requests from residents, and it is anticipated to significantly aid students, patients, workers, and the elderly by facilitating better access to hospitals in Dharamshala and Tanda. Ajay Verma highlighted the government's commitment to ensuring that every village is linked with dependable transportation options, thereby alleviating daily challenges faced by the populace.


Villagers expressed their appreciation to both the government and HRTC officials for fulfilling their persistent request. The inauguration event was also attended by notable figures including former Zila Parishad member Kulbhash Chaudhary, Sahoda Panchayat Pradhan Sameera, former Pradhan Kiran Wala, Zila Parishad member Vijay Kumar, and APMC Kangra Chairman Narendra Singh (Nishu) Mogara, among others.
