New Expressway Enhances Connectivity to Noida International Airport

Boosting Connectivity in Jewar

The recent approval of a 74.5-kilometer long, six-lane greenfield link expressway connecting Noida International Airport with the Ganga and Yamuna Expressways is set to significantly enhance connectivity in Jewar. This ambitious project, estimated at ₹8,586 crores, has also received an additional allocation of ₹250 crores in the latest supplementary budget.

With the construction of this link expressway, a vast area of western and central Uttar Pradesh will gain swift and efficient road access to Noida International Airport via the Ganga Expressway. Furthermore, improved access options will be developed for travelers and commercial traffic arriving from Delhi-NCR, Uttarakhand, Haryana, and Rajasthan, potentially expanding the airport's catchment area and boosting passenger numbers, air cargo, logistics, warehousing, tourism, hotels, exports, and industrial investments.

Dheerendra Singh, the local MLA, expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, stating, 'This is not just an expressway; it will serve as an economic corridor connecting western Uttar Pradesh to the nation and the world. Thanks to the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Jewar is emerging as Uttar Pradesh's aviation, industrial, and logistics gateway.'

He particularly highlighted the contributions of farmers, saying, 'The foundation of this new chapter in Jewar's development is built on the sacrifices and cooperation of our farmers. The contributions of the farming families who provided land for the airport, expressway, and industrial development will be remembered by future generations. Protecting the interests and dignity of farmers remains our top priority.'

Singh also expressed his appreciation for Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state government, the farmers who provided land, local residents, officials, and all those involved in this project.

'This expressway will not only reduce distances but will also bring Jewar, western Uttar Pradesh, and neighboring states closer to employment, investment, and global opportunities.'
