Emerging Evidence in the Case

Recent updates have surfaced regarding Nancy Guthrie, who was last seen on January 31. Ashleigh Banfield, a US broadcaster, discussed the case on her March 25 episode of Drop Dead Serious, revealing that blood was discovered both inside and outside Guthrie’s residence in Tucson, Arizona. Banfield stated, "My source informed me on the third day that blood was located within the home. A second source confirmed that there was indeed blood inside the property." She further noted that responding deputies quickly recognized the gravity of the situation, indicating the need for homicide investigators to be called in. Banfield described the blood's location, mentioning it was found near the front entrance, with a pattern extending over the threshold and outside the door. "If you were to enter through the front door, that’s where the blood pattern is situated," she explained. Authorities have previously indicated that DNA collected from the scene belonged to multiple individuals, complicating the investigation. Chris Nanos remarked that laboratory analysis has been difficult, but advancements in technology may soon aid in resolving the case. "The pace of technological advancement is so rapid that they believe some of these issues could be resolved within weeks, months, or possibly a year," he stated. Earlier in March, officials mentioned they had identified a potential motive but have not released additional details. The investigation is ongoing.
