In a proactive move to enhance environmental consciousness, the Himachal Dev Sena introduced an awareness song titled “Jungle Rote Hain” on Friday. This initiative aims to educate the public about the increasing danger of forest fires and the critical need for conservation efforts.
The song was officially launched by Pulkit Gulati, an officer from the Himachal Pradesh Forest Department, during a special event organized by the group. This effort is designed to emphasize the ecological significance of forests and to motivate community involvement in their preservation.
The organizers noted that the song specifically targets the worrying rise in forest fire occurrences throughout the state. Its message conveys that forests are not just collections of trees; they are essential for human existence, biodiversity, and ecological stability.
During the event, representatives from Himachal Dev Sena highlighted that forest fires result in significant loss of forest resources, threaten wildlife, and disrupt ecological balance. They expressed optimism that “Jungle Rote Hain” will resonate emotionally with the public and effectively raise awareness.
In his address, Pulkit Gulati called on citizens to avoid actions that could ignite forest fires and to educate others about the repercussions of such events. He emphasized the necessity of collective action to confront this ongoing environmental issue.
The organization also urged the community to take charge of nature conservation and to help protect forests for future generations.
Notable attendees at the event included Himachal Dev Sena founder Manish Vats, president Teja Thakur, and Mandi district president Sarita Handa.
This initiative, resonating with the theme “Hamari Sanskriti, Hamari Pehchan,” is viewed as a significant step towards fostering a greener and more sustainable future.
