Leadership Changes in Indian Railways
The Ministry of Railways has announced the appointment of Sanjay Kumar Srivastava as the General Manager for the South Central Railway and Vivek Kumar Gupta as the General Manager for the Western Zone on Friday.
According to an official statement from the ministry, Sanjay Kumar Srivastava's appointment as the General Manager of South Central Railway has been approved under the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS). He is currently serving as the General Manager of the Central Railway Electrification Organization (CORE).
In a similar announcement, Vivek Kumar Gupta has been appointed as the General Manager of Western Railway. He is presently the Managing Director of the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL).
