Incident in Hamirpur District

A shocking incident has emerged from Hamirpur district in Uttar Pradesh, where a neighbor's acquisition of a new car sparked outrage in another neighbor, leading to a stone-throwing altercation. Upon witnessing the chaos, the driver managed to escape with the vehicle, but tensions escalated into a physical confrontation accompanied by verbal abuse. The police arrived promptly at the scene and detained one individual from each party involved.

Background of the Dispute

Motilal Khangar, a resident of Pachkhura Bujurg in the Sumerpur police jurisdiction, recently improved his financial situation through his son’s employment in Gujarat, allowing him to purchase a car. This new acquisition did not sit well with his neighbor, Ram Asare. As the car was being consecrated, stones began to rain down from the neighbor's house, causing panic among the family, who quickly called the police by dialing 112.

Reason Behind the Stone-Throwing

Motilal's wife, Roshni, filed a written complaint at the police station, explaining that the car was recently bought and a pooja was being held at their home on Friday night. While the driver remained in the vehicle with the family present, their neighbors, out of jealousy, initiated a ruckus and began throwing stones from their rooftops, eventually leading to a physical fight. The neighbors were upset about the arrival of the new car in Motilal's household. The police intervened to de-escalate the situation.

Police Investigation Underway

After receiving reports of the stone-throwing and physical altercation, the police arrived at the scene to calm both parties and took one individual from each side into custody. Yogesh Tiwari, the Sumerpur police station chief, confirmed that they received information via the 112 emergency line and acted swiftly to resolve the dispute. There has been an ongoing feud between the two parties, and a thorough investigation is currently underway to take appropriate action against those responsible.
