The UP Warriorz franchise has appointed Neetu David, a former Indian cricketer and ICC Hall of Famer, as their Chief Scout. This strategic move aims to bolster the team's efforts in discovering and nurturing emerging cricket talent throughout India. David, a prominent figure in women's cricket, brings a wealth of experience in playing, selection, and talent scouting. In her new position, she will lead the scouting program, focusing on identifying promising players from grassroots and domestic levels to enhance the franchise's talent pipeline.

A Remarkable Career

Hailing from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Neetu David is celebrated for her outstanding contributions to women's cricket, having taken 141 wickets in ODIs and achieving a remarkable 8/53 in a Women's Test innings. After retiring from playing, she took on the role of Chairperson for the BCCI's All-India Women's Selection Committee, where she gained significant expertise in talent identification and player development. Her remarkable career was honored with her induction into the ICC Hall of Fame in 2024.
