NEET-UG Re-Examination Scheduled

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the NEET-UG medical entrance exam, which was previously cancelled due to allegations of irregularities, will be held again on June 21. This decision was made public on Friday.

Originally, the exam took place on May 3, but following concerns regarding the examination process, the NTA decided to cancel it earlier this week.

In light of these issues, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been tasked with conducting a thorough investigation into the alleged irregularities associated with the exam.

A senior official confirmed, "With the Government of India's approval, the NTA has rescheduled the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination for Sunday, June 21, 2026."

This announcement followed a high-level meeting convened late Thursday at the residence of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, aimed at reviewing the preparations for the re-examination.
