NEET PG 2025 Exam Postponed Following Supreme Court Directive
Postponement of NEET PG 2025 Exam
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced a postponement of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025. This decision aligns with the Supreme Court's ruling, which mandated that the examination be conducted in a single shift rather than two.
As per the official announcement made by NBEMS on June 2, the exam will now take place in just one shift. To accommodate this change, additional examination centers are being established nationwide, and a new date for the exam will be communicated shortly.
NEET PG 2025 serves as a crucial entrance test for medical graduates seeking admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma programs in India. Initially, the exam was slated for June 15, 2025, but has now been postponed.
According to the original timeline, NBEMS was set to issue the Advanced City Intimation Slip on June 2. However, due to the exam's postponement, the city intimation slip, admit card, and revised exam date will be announced at a later time.
Once the admit card is available, candidates can download it from the official NBEMS website. Following the examination, successful candidates will need to engage in the counseling process. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will oversee counseling for 50% of the All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while the remaining seats will be managed by state-level counseling authorities.
