NDA Chief Ministers Meet in Delhi to Discuss Key Issues

Significant Meeting of NDA Leaders
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a crucial meeting of Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers from NDA-ruled states is set to take place today in Delhi. This one-day conference is expected to cover various topics, including Operation Sindoor, caste-based census, and the completion of the first year of Modi's third term in office. The agenda may also focus on issues related to good governance.
Attendees of the Meeting
Present at the meeting will be Delhi's Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Assam's Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Tripura's Chief Minister Manik Saha, and Meghalaya's Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, along with Chhattisgarh's Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and both Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Saw and Vijay Sharma. Andhra Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is also attending, as is Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar with his Deputy.
Central Ministers in Attendance
Several central ministers will also participate in this important meeting, including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP President JP Nadda.
Proposal for Operation Sindoor
Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, in charge of the BJP's good governance department, announced that a proposal will be passed to congratulate the armed forces and PM Modi for the success of Operation Sindoor. The meeting will also commend the central government's decision to include caste enumeration in the upcoming census.
Celebrating Modi Government's First Year
Sahasrabuddhe noted that a significant part of the discussions will focus on best practices adopted by various NDA-ruled state governments. Additionally, the Chief Ministers will present their respective plans. Next month marks the completion of the first year of Modi's third term, and this year also marks the 11th consecutive year of the Modi government, which is planning a grand celebration. Discussions may also include upcoming events like the decade celebration of International Yoga Day in June.
