Nava Raipur Open 2026 Set to Kick Off
The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) is set to host the inaugural Nava Raipur Open 2026 from September 15 to 18 at the Fairway Golf & Lake Resort in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh. This event is backed by the Chhattisgarh government, as stated in a recent announcement.
A competitive field of 132 professional golfers will vie for a total prize pool of ₹1 crore. Notable Indian players such as Saptak Talwar, Honey Baisoya, Veer Ahlawat, Akshay Sharma, Khalin Joshi, Rashid Khan, Manu Gandas, and Om Prakash Chouhan from Mhow are among the participants, alongside 18 international competitors.
Tournament Schedule and Significance
This marks the second PGTI event in Nava Raipur this year, highlighting the city's rising status in India's professional golf scene. The tournament will kick off with a Pro-Am event on September 13, followed by an official practice round on September 14, leading into the main competition from September 15 to 18.
