Arrest of a Deceptive Individual in Nabarangpur
Jeypore: Authorities in Jeypore have apprehended a man from the Nabarangpur district, accused of deceiving and sexually exploiting a young woman by falsely promising marriage.
The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Mantu Utra, resides in Bangalaguda village, which falls under the Khatiguda police jurisdiction.
Reports indicate that Utra allegedly enticed the woman from the Jeypore region with a marriage proposal, only to later assault her sexually and subsequently back out of the commitment.
Following the victim's report to the Jeypore Mahila Police Station, a case (69/25) was officially registered, prompting an investigation into the matter.
