In a surprising turn of events, a substantial box weighing approximately 400 kilograms was unearthed during the excavation of an old building in the village of Karivamula, located in Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh. The discovery brought immense joy to the local residents, who began speculating about the contents of the box. As news of the find spread, a crowd quickly gathered at the site, prompting the family to contact the authorities for assistance.

Opening the Box

A team from the revenue department, along with police officials, arrived to open the mysterious box. Using a gas cutter, they managed to unlock it. However, the excitement turned to disappointment as the box was found to contain nothing but scrap materials, including paper, sand, iron, and steel pieces. The crowd gradually dispersed after realizing the box held no treasures.

Background of the Discovery

The box was discovered by local resident Narasimulu, who had purchased an old house previously owned by Krishna Reddy. As he began demolishing parts of the structure to build a new home, workers stumbled upon the ancient box buried in the foundation. Due to its weight, they required a tractor to extract it. By this time, word had spread throughout the village, leading to a large gathering outside the house.

Upon arrival, police and revenue officials ensured the area was secure before opening the box. They retrieved old documents and sand from inside, which left Narasimulu feeling disheartened. According to the revenue officials, all documents found in the box were deemed illegal.
