Mysteries of Nidhivan: Local Claims of Divine Encounters
The Enigmatic Nidhivan
Mathura. Nidhivan, located in Vrindavan, is a site shrouded in mystery, where many locals assert that Lord Krishna and Radha engage in divine dances after sunset. Residents living nearby report hearing the sounds of flutes and anklets during the night. Most homes in the vicinity lack windows, as it is believed that anyone who glimpses Radha will either lose their sanity or face dire consequences.
Amidst these claims, a 99-year-old woman from the neighborhood has made several intriguing revelations. Seva Devi, the elderly resident, asserts that Radha visits at night, leaving behind scattered garments and chewed betel leaves. She also mentions frequently hearing the sounds of ghungroos, anklets, and flutes. On one occasion, she went to her terrace, which is adjacent to Nidhivan, accompanied by her daughter-in-law. Seva Devi claims to hear the footsteps of Radha, yet no one ever sees her.
Strange Occurrences and Local Beliefs
Raj Kumari, the daughter-in-law of the elderly woman, adds that the trees around Nidhivan transform into companions at night, darkening as evening falls, causing all animals and birds to flee the area. She warns that anyone who manages to see the divine will meet their end; she recounts an incident from two years ago when a foreigner stayed at Nidhivan and did not survive until morning. It is important to note that these claims are made by the residents of Nidhivan, and the authenticity of these stories has not been verified by any media outlet.
