Muzaffarpur Human Trafficking Operation Exposed

In a shocking revelation, a human trafficking ring has been uncovered in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, following a similar incident in Nawada. Young women were not only forced into prostitution but were also filmed in explicit videos. These videos were used as leverage, threatening the women to return repeatedly for the illicit activities. Each woman was reportedly paid 500 rupees per client, with more attractive individuals earning up to 600 rupees.

The local community is in disbelief after this discovery. Police have successfully rescued the victims from their captors. City SP Mohibullah Ansari informed the media that a joint operation by the Ahiyapur and Garhan OP police teams led to the rescue of these women. Additionally, two suspects, Mithilesh Kumar, the manager of a roadside eatery, and Amit Kumar from Patiyasa, have been arrested and are currently under interrogation.

The Operation at the Dhaba

The investigation revealed that the illicit activities were centered around Mohini Dhaba, located along the four-lane road in Patiyasa under Garhan OP. Beautiful young women were lured to the dhaba under false pretenses, where they were coerced into prostitution and filmed in compromising situations.

Mithilesh Kumar, the dhaba manager, is believed to be the mastermind behind this trafficking operation. He allegedly threatened the women with the release of their videos if they refused to comply. The women received between 500 to 600 rupees from the money collected from clients. Police have rescued two women from the Mianapur and Turki police station areas and have named Umesh Rai, the dhaba owner from Patiyasa, in the case.

Seizure of Incriminating Evidence

Authorities seized a significant amount of incriminating materials, including condoms, from the dhaba's counter. Additionally, a ledger detailing the prostitution activities was recovered by the police. One of the rescued women from Mianapur stated that Mithilesh was the one who negotiated with the girls, threatening to leak their photos and videos if they did not comply.

The majority of the earnings from the prostitution activities were reportedly taken by the owner and the dhaba operator, while the manager kept 50% of the money collected from clients. Arrested suspect Amit has also confirmed that Mithilesh was responsible for dealing with the women.
