Tragic Incident in Rani Talab Area

A 50-year-old man involved in the sand mining business was shot dead outside his home in the Rani Talab area of Patna on Thursday, according to police reports.


Authorities revealed that Ramkant Yadav was attacked by unidentified armed assailants near his residence in Dhna village. He was rushed to a nearby government hospital, but unfortunately, doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.


This incident follows the recent murder of a well-known businessman, Gopal Khemka, who was also shot outside his home in Patna just a few days prior. Bhanu Pratap Singh, the Deputy Superintendent of Police for Patna City (West), informed reporters that they received information about Yadav being shot by unknown individuals in Dhna village on Thursday afternoon. The police quickly arrived at the scene and transported him to the local hospital, where he was declared dead.
