Murder of Flower Vendor in Gurugram Shocks Community

In a shocking incident in the DLF Phase-1 area of Gurugram, a 38-year-old flower vendor was reportedly beaten to death inside his shop. Authorities revealed this information on Thursday. According to the police, a team was dispatched to the flower shop located in front of the Bristol Hotel after receiving a report on Wednesday morning, where they found the victim covered in blood.

The police noted that the victim had visible injuries on his head and arms. During their investigation at the crime scene, they seized various pieces of evidence, including a wooden stick believed to have been used in the murder, and sent the body for autopsy. The deceased has been identified as Sanjay, hailing from East Champaran district in Bihar.

Based on a complaint filed by the victim's brother, the police registered a case and apprehended the suspect on Thursday. The arrested individual has been identified as Rajiv Das, a 40-year-old from Madhubani district in Bihar.
