In Mumbai, Maharashtra, authorities have exposed yet another fraudulent baba. The Dindoshi police apprehended this con artist following the intervention of BJP leader and advocate Siddharth Sharma, leading to the revelation of his deceitful activities.
Details of the Arrest
The individual, known as Monty Baba, was previously a gym trainer who had transformed into a self-proclaimed tantric. He falsely claimed to assist childless women in conceiving. Reports indicate that the accused, Ridham Panchal, is facing allegations of sexual exploitation from over 60 women. Initial investigations by the police revealed that he was engaging in heinous acts under the guise of faith and trust.
Monty Baba's Disturbing Practices
Operating primarily after sunset, Monty Baba held his sessions from 8 PM to 7 AM, targeting women facing difficulties in conception.
Demanding Unusual Offerings
In a shocking twist, Monty Baba requested bizarre offerings such as goat hearts, live chickens, expensive alcohol, and cigarettes under the pretense of providing treatment. According to police reports, he would smoke cigarettes in front of his devotees.
Inappropriate Conduct with Women
During these sessions, he claimed to be exorcising spirits from the women, but in reality, he was committing lewd acts. The Dindoshi police, prompted by the intervention of BJP advocate Siddharth Sharma, arrested him, unveiling his fraudulent activities.
Monty Baba's Rituals
Operating from an empty plot in Malad, Monty Baba conducted his 'court' every Thursday and Saturday night. He claimed to be possessed by a goddess and ensnared numerous women under the pretext of helping them conceive.
Engaging in Aghori Rituals
Additionally, he performed Aghori rituals, holding a burning cigarette in his mouth to ward off spirits. His unusual demands for expensive alcohol, cigarettes, and animal organs raised suspicions among some devotees and locals. The police are currently investigating this case.
