Known as Monty Baba, the accused, Ridham Panchal, previously worked as a gym trainer before masquerading as a tantric. He falsely claimed to assist childless women in conceiving. Reports indicate that he is accused of sexually exploiting over 60 women, engaging in despicable acts under the guise of faith and trust.


Monty Baba's Disturbing Rituals

Operating primarily at night, Monty Baba would hold his sessions from 8 PM to 7 AM, targeting women facing difficulties in conception. He demanded bizarre offerings such as goat hearts, live chickens, expensive alcohol, and cigarettes as part of his supposed healing rituals.


Exploitation Under the Pretense of Exorcism

During these sessions, he claimed to be exorcising spirits from the women, but instead, he engaged in inappropriate behavior. His arrest came after the intervention of BJP leader Siddharth Sharma, revealing the extent of his fraudulent activities.


Aghori Rituals and Community Suspicion

Monty Baba operated from an empty plot in Malad, conducting his 'court' every Thursday and Saturday. He claimed to be possessed by a goddess and lured numerous women into his trap with promises of helping them conceive. His unusual demands for expensive alcohol and animal organs raised suspicions among some devotees and locals. The police are currently investigating the matter.
