MTB Chamba 2026 Concludes with Enthusiastic Participation

The inaugural MTB Chamba 2026, organized by the Chamba Cycling Association and backed by Himachal Tourism as part of the 'Chalo Chamba' initiative, has successfully wrapped up, marking a pivotal moment in the promotion of adventure tourism in the area.

This event attracted enthusiastic cyclists from 10 different states and 16 cities, showcasing the increasing appeal of mountain biking nationwide.

The race commenced at the renowned Millennium Gate, guiding participants through a demanding and picturesque 65-kilometer course with an elevation gain of around 2000 meters. Riders faced a true test of endurance and skill as they maneuvered through rugged mountain paths, passing through locations such as Badram, Deolihatti, Sungal, Sangera, Sarhan, Ran, Panela, Baath, Badidera, and Panchpandav, providing an authentic cross-country mountain biking experience.

Chanderkant, President of the Chamba Cycling Association, remarked, “MTB Chamba 2026 is more than just a competition; it’s a tribute to Chamba’s stunning landscapes and rich culture. Our goal is to establish Chamba as a key destination for adventure sports in India, and the positive feedback from this first edition has been incredibly motivating. We aim to make this an annual flagship event.”
