When pressed again about his retirement plans, Dhoni mentioned that he would need to train for the next six to eight months after the IPL to assess if his body can handle the demands of the game.

With this victory, CSK ended a four-match losing streak. Dhoni remarked that the team executed many strategies effectively during the match. He emphasized the importance of performing well and preparing for the next season.
Dhoni's Reflections:
"It's great to be on the winning side. We got a lot of things right tonight, and I feel a sense of pride. It's crucial for us to be practical, fill the squad with 25 players, and become more competitive while also planning for next year. We need to find the right combinations and adjust the batting order, which wasn't optimal before, but now the intent among the batters is strong."
Chennai Super Kings are set to face the Rajasthan Royals on May 12 at Chepauk, marking their final home game of the season, where they will aim for a victory in front of their fans.
