Mrigakshi Saha, a young judoka from Agartala, has made her mark by winning a gold medal at the national level. She excelled in the Under-14 girls' 36kg category during the 55th Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) National Sports Competition 2026-27 held in Agra.

Upon her return to Agartala early Sunday, Mrigakshi was greeted with enthusiasm at the railway station. Her coach, Pradip Sarkar, along with family and supporters, were there to celebrate her remarkable achievement.
Mrigakshi trains under Sarkar, a certified Khelo India judo coach and the lead instructor at the NSRCC Khelo India Judo Centre in Agartala. This victory at the KVS National Sports Competition marks another milestone in her promising career.
