Moradabad Double Murder: A Family's Tragedy Unfolds
Tragic Incident in Moradabad
Moradabad News: In Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad, a minor dispute escalated into a horrific tragedy, shattering a family's happiness. The brutal murders of Raja and his wife Farah on Monday night in the Chakkar Ki Milk area have sent shockwaves throughout the district. The plot for this double homicide was reportedly conceived in a hospital bed, where an injured father incited his son to seek revenge for perceived humiliation.
The police acted swiftly, apprehending the main conspirator, Fahim, who has already been jailed. Additionally, late Tuesday night, another suspect, Anas, was captured following an encounter. During the operation in the Agwanpur area, Anas fired at the police, resulting in a gunshot wound to his leg. Authorities also seized illegal firearms from his possession.
Post-Mortem Report Reveals Gruesome Details
The post-mortem report of the deceased Raja is chilling. It indicates that he suffered a total of 40 stab wounds from the attackers. The assault was so severe that it severed his neck arteries, with deep knife wounds penetrating his lungs and liver. Raja succumbed to excessive blood loss at the scene. The 16 wounds on his hands suggest he fought valiantly against his assailants until his last breath. His wife Farah also bore six serious injuries, with a fatal blow to her neck. This couple was brutally murdered in front of their three innocent children in their modest one-room home, inciting widespread outrage in the community.
Conspiracy Originating from a Hospital Bed
The root of this heinous crime stemmed from a mere 24,000 rupee debt and a false sense of honor. Police investigations revealed that Fahim had sold Raja a plot of land, with some payment still outstanding. Following a dispute on April 19, Raja struck Fahim with a brick. Fahim, hospitalized and feeling publicly humiliated, incited his son Farzand and accomplice Arif to take revenge when they visited him. The brother of a former leader from the Samajwadi Party, Arif, has also been named in the case, and efforts are underway to apprehend him. Authorities assure that the remaining suspects will soon be brought to justice.
