Mohan Bhagwat's Speech at Youth Conference

The Chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Mohan Bhagwat, is set to address a youth conference today at the Shatabdi Sadan located on Sevak Road in Siliguri. This event is part of the centenary celebrations organized by the RSS's North Bengal province, which is being commemorated across the nation.


Participants from eight districts in North Bengal, along with attendees from the neighboring state of Sikkim, are expected to join the conference. Dr. Bhagwat arrived in Siliguri yesterday and will deliver his address around 11 AM this morning.


Preparations and Anticipation

Hundreds of volunteers and organizers have been actively preparing for the event, ensuring that the stage and venue are fully ready. Young individuals aged between 15 to 35 have been arriving at the venue since early morning to hear the RSS leader's speech.


According to RSS spokesperson Sameer Kumar Ghosh, there is a strong expectation for youth participation in this program. He mentioned that ideally, 15 to 35-year-olds from each district are anticipated to take part in the event.


Significance of Youth Engagement

Dr. Bhagwat emphasized the crucial role of youth in the nation’s development. He stated that if young people are guided in the right direction, the country will progress significantly. The youth conference is part of a series of events celebrating the 100th anniversary of the RSS, which was founded in 1925 on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, aimed at organizing the Hindu community and contributing to the creation of a strong, disciplined, and well-structured nation.
