Mohammed Siraj Reflects on Disappointment Ahead of Fourth Test Against England

Siraj Remembers Tough Moments from Lord's Test

As India prepares for the upcoming Test match against England in Manchester, right-arm fast bowler Mohammed Siraj reminisced about his experience during the third match of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025. His dismissal by Shoaib Bashir, where the ball unexpectedly rolled back into the stumps, marked a significant turning point in the match, leading to India's narrow 22-run defeat at Lord's. Despite a strong performance, including a remarkable seven-wicket haul by Jasprit Bumrah, India was unable to secure a win.

Reflecting on his dismissal, Siraj expressed his disappointment during a pre-match press conference, stating, "It hurts to get out after making good contact with the ball. I felt confident in my partnership with Ravindra Jadeja and believed I wouldn't get out. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, and I was extremely disappointed. A victory from that position would have changed everything."
