The Role of the Modern Postman

Today's Postman Delivers More Than Just Letters: Scindia

The Union Minister remarked that the postman does not merely deliver mail; he conveys emotions from home to home and across borders. He referenced a famous line from a film by Sunny Deol, stating that while the postman once brought letters, today he also brings banking services. The Post Office Savings Bank, insurance schemes, and the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana have become vital for the financial security of rural families.
