Today, MLA Neeraj Nayyar officially opened the 2-km jeepable road connecting Daroga and Milha in Gram Panchayat Singi, a project that cost ₹5.7 million and was funded through the Backward Area Sub-Plan. During his speech to the gathered crowd, he highlighted that enhancing road connectivity to every village is his primary focus, as development is closely tied to robust transportation links.
Future Road Extensions
Nayyar also announced plans to extend the Daroga–Milha road further to Singi. He instructed the Public Works Department to draft an estimate for connecting Panjiyar village to the Fatehpur road, aiming to improve access for local residents.
Foundation Stone Laid for Fatehpur–Suhgla Road
Earlier in the day, the MLA conducted the bhoomipujan for a new 1-km road between Fatehpur and Suhgla, which will be constructed at a cost of ₹2.4 million and is expected to benefit around 10 villages directly.
Additional Development Initiatives
- Inaugurated a 35,000-litre capacity water tank in Samui village within Gram Panchayat Singi.
- Directed relevant departments to ensure regular LPG distribution vehicles service Fatehpur and Milha villages.
- Announced the installation of a 25 KVA transformer in Fatehpur to address low-voltage concerns.
- Committed to enhancing basic amenities such as safe drinking water, education, and electricity supply.

The inauguration event saw the presence of several officials, including Meena Devi, Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Singi; Joginder Sharma, Executive Engineer (PWD); Jitendra Sharma, Executive Engineer (Jal Shakti); Kanav, Assistant Engineer; along with representatives from neighboring panchayats and a large turnout of villagers.
