The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and DMK leader, MK Stalin, has urged party leaders and workers to approach the upcoming assembly elections with renewed enthusiasm. He emphasized the necessity for the party to secure victories in every constituency where it is contesting. Addressing district secretaries at the party headquarters, Stalin noted that the election schedule has been announced, leaving only a few weeks for campaigning. He pointed out that the election date was revealed yesterday, and there are just 39 days left until April 23. Our party is taking a leading role in the election campaign.
Strengthening Public Support Through Welfare Initiatives
Stalin highlighted that the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has garnered significant public support over the past five years through its welfare schemes and governance. He mentioned initiatives such as providing ₹3,000 as a Pongal gift to all families, offering ₹5,000 to 1.31 crore families for women's rights assistance, and extending special financial aid of ₹2,000 to nearly 40 lakh individuals, including senior citizens and persons with disabilities, which have greatly enhanced the party's support among the populace.
Building a Strong Coalition for the Elections
Emphasizing the party's organizational strength, Stalin stated that the DMK and its allies have effectively countered attempts to create confusion within the coalition and have formed a robust alliance for the elections. He expressed confidence that the strength of their coalition, combined with their welfare initiatives and achievements over the past five years, has instilled a strong belief among both the public and their opponents that they will emerge victorious.

The DMK leader urged party officials to remain disciplined and focused during the final phase of the election campaign.
