MK Stalin Evaluates DMK's Election Prospects After Holiday
High-Level Meeting at DMK Headquarters
After returning from a four-day vacation in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin convened a significant meeting with senior leaders of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) at the party headquarters. The discussion focused on assessing the party's chances of victory in the upcoming assembly elections held on April 23.
This meeting was prompted by various media outlets releasing post-election surveys, or exit polls, indicating a favorable outcome for the DMK.
Key participants included DMK General Secretary Durai Murugan, Ministers M.R.K. Paneerselvam, and E.V. Velu, among others. According to DMK sources, Stalin concentrated on finalizing strategies for the vote counting scheduled for May 4 and providing instructions to the party's booth agents who will be present during the counting process.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining vigilance throughout the counting process. The Tamil Nadu assembly elections took place on April 23, with vote counting set to commence at 8 AM on May 4.
