Missing Girls Found in Uttar Pradesh: Jharkhand Police Update
Discovery of Missing Individuals
In a significant development, two minor girls and a young woman who had gone missing from various villages in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district have been located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. This information was confirmed by the police on Sunday.
According to police reports, the father of a 17-year-old girl filed a missing person complaint at the Guwa police station on August 1. Following this, a police team from the district traveled to Meerut based on the information gathered during the investigation, successfully rescuing the missing girl along with two others from the area.
The police revealed that the group included a 21-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl. Investigations indicated that all three had left their homes without informing their families. When questioned about the possibility of human trafficking, authorities dismissed the notion, stating that the individuals had voluntarily left in search of better opportunities. The police confirmed that all three were returned to their families on Saturday.
