In the midst of rising tensions between Israel and Iran, the Israeli Foreign Ministry reported on Thursday that Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva has been directly struck. The Ministry announced via a post on X, stating, "BREAKING: A direct hit has been reported at Soroka Hospital in Beersheba, southern Israel. More details to follow." The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that the largest medical facility in southern Israel was hit by a missile barrage.


IDF Confirms Missile Barrage


The IDF stated on X that several impacts were recorded due to the missile barrage, with one of them hitting the largest hospital in southern Israel. Earlier, the IDF had reported that millions of Israelis were seeking shelter after sirens were activated following an Iranian missile launch.

International Condemnation

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar shared footage of the attack, highlighting the hospital's damage. He stated, "The Iranian regime fired a ballistic missile at a hospital. The Iranian regime deliberately targets civilians. The Iranian regime is committing war crimes. The Iranian regime has no red lines." Reports indicate that Iranian missiles have also struck various locations, including the city of Tel Aviv, with damage reported to the Israeli stock exchange building, according to various news sources.
