Ministers Celebrate PM Modi's 76th Birthday, Reflect on His 25 Years of Service

New Delhi, Sep 17: On Thursday, prominent ministers conveyed their birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he celebrated his 76th birthday, emphasizing his extensive 25-year journey in public service. They credited his administration for implementing significant reforms, welfare initiatives, and fostering development.
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw took to the social media platform X to express that PM Modi's commitment to public service serves as a source of inspiration. He wished the Prime Minister good health, longevity, and the sustained vigor to continue serving the nation.
Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal referred to PM Modi as a 'karma yogi' devoted to national service and public welfare. He pointed out that the policies introduced under PM Modi's leadership have created numerous opportunities for the youth, empowered women and farmers, and broadened access to development.
Goyal also mentioned the significance of free-trade agreements, the startup ecosystem, and the Ease of Doing Business framework, which have collectively opened up global markets for Indian entrepreneurs and exporters.
Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri echoed similar sentiments, stating that PM Modi's 25-year public service has led to what he termed as transformational changes through various reforms, policies, and welfare schemes.
Puri highlighted several initiatives, including the Swachh Bharat Mission, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Khelo India, PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM SVANidhi, Jan Dhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, PM Awas Yojana, PM-KISAN, and Jal Jeevan Mission, asserting that these programs have brought development to the grassroots level.
He also pointed out reforms in the energy sector, emphasizing increased focus on exploration and production, the expansion of energy infrastructure, and the promotion of biofuels and renewable energy sources.
Puri remarked that India's energy diplomacy has been instrumental in helping the nation navigate geopolitical challenges and disruptions in global supply chains.
Communications Minister Jyotiraditya M Scindia added that PM Modi has aligned India's developmental goals with those of its citizens, providing a new direction for the country's growth trajectory. He also acknowledged the Prime Minister's 25 years of public service, wishing him continued health and longevity.
