In a recent escalation, several nations in the Middle East, including Jordan, Qatar, Iran, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, have vocally condemned the Israeli airstrikes targeting Syrian military convoys near Sweida. This condemnation follows a joint announcement from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz, who stated that military action was taken to protect the Druze community in Syria, citing their historical ties with Druze citizens in Israel.

The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs labeled the Israeli strikes as a serious breach of international law, warning that such actions threaten Syria's stability and sovereignty. Ambassador Sufian Al-Qudah emphasized the need for an immediate cessation of these attacks, reiterating Jordan's solidarity with Syria and its citizens.

Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, expressed deep concern over the situation in As-Suwayda, asserting that Syria's security is vital for regional stability. He condemned the Israeli actions as violations of Syria's sovereignty and international law.

Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Esmail Baqaei, also voiced alarm over the violence in southern Syria, which has reportedly led to numerous civilian casualties. He criticized the ongoing Israeli military actions as a threat to Syria's territorial integrity and highlighted the inaction of the United Nations Security Council as a contributing factor to the situation.

Kuwait urged the international community to take action against these violations, reaffirming its support for Syria's security and stability. The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli strikes as part of a broader pattern of international law violations.

Saudi Arabia joined the chorus of condemnation, denouncing the Israeli attacks as interference in Syria's internal affairs and a destabilizing force in the region. The Saudi Foreign Ministry called on the international community to support Syria in the face of these ongoing aggressions.
