After a year with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), Mercedes Mone has firmly reestablished her status as a top competitor in the wrestling world. Following a lengthy hiatus from the ring after leaving WWE, many questioned whether she could continue her wrestling career, but she has proven her critics wrong.

Mone made her debut on AEW's flagship program, AEW Dynamite: Big Business edition, in her hometown of Boston on March 13, 2024. She competed in her first match for the organization two months later, on May 26, where she triumphed over Willow Nightingale to claim the TBS Championship. This victory marked the start of her impressive championship journey.

By March, Mone celebrated 300 days as the TBS Champion, maintaining an undefeated streak against various competitors both within and outside AEW. The self-proclaimed CEO successfully defended her title against notable wrestlers such as Hikaru Shida, Nyla Rose, Britt Baker, Anna Jay, Kris Statlander, Momo Watanabe, Stephanie Vaquer, and Harley Cameron, reigniting her passion for wrestling.

“It’s been a year since I embarked on this incredible journey with AEW! Time truly does fly, and I can confidently say this has been one of the most transformative years of my career,” Mone expressed in her Mone Mag Newsletter.

“AEW has reignited my fire, passion, and deep-seated love for this sport. It has been a beacon of hope for me, and I am endlessly grateful to AEW and Tony Khan for this opportunity!”

Mercedes Mone's Championship Achievements Across Continents

In March alone, Mone participated in three significant matches: facing Momo Watanabe at AEW Revolution in Los Angeles, competing against Indi Hartwell at House of Glory City of Dreamz, and battling Billie Starkz on AEW Dynamite. She expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to compete alongside the best female wrestlers globally.

Later, at AEW x NJPW Wrestle Dynasty in December, she defeated Mina Shirakawa to retain her NJPW Strong Women’s Championship and also claimed the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship.

With the latter title combined with the Southside Wrestling Entertainment Women’s Championship, Mone now holds four titles in AEW, making her a champion across three different promotions: RevPro, AEW, and NJPW, spanning three continents: Europe, North America, and Asia.
