Remarkable Achievement by Twin Brothers


Malkangiri: In a remarkable turn of events, twin brothers from Malkangiri district have achieved the highest scores in their district, each earning 560 out of a possible 600 marks in the recent Class X board examinations.


The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, announced the results on Friday. The twins, Daniel Lenka and Dambaru Lenka, are students at Saberi High School located in the Kalimela block of the district.


Their identical scores have sparked excitement among residents both locally and across the state. Daniel expressed his astonishment, stating, “It’s incredible that we both achieved the same marks. We dedicated ourselves to consistent study and practiced writing extensively. We typically studied for 7-8 hours each day to ensure we covered our syllabus thoroughly and focused on revision.”


He added, “A special class named ‘Pride of Malyabanta Group’ played a significant role in our success, as experienced teachers provided us with valuable guidance.”


Both Daniel and Dambaru aspire to become doctors in order to enhance healthcare services in their district.


“Many individuals in our district, particularly from the rural tribal areas, struggle to access adequate medical care. We aim to improve healthcare facilities to better the lives of our community. This is why we are determined to pursue careers in medicine,” shared Daniel and Dambaru.
