Teenaa Rath's Remarkable Achievement


Bhubaneswar: Teenaa Rath, a bright student from Puri, has achieved an outstanding score of 500 out of 500 in the recently announced CBSE Class X board results.


Enrolled at Mothers' Public School in Puri, Teenaa excelled in the exams conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) earlier this year, as confirmed by the school's founder, Poly Pattnaik.


Among the six subjects, she earned 99 out of 100 in mathematics and full marks in the other five subjects, leading to her perfect score.


According to school regulations, only the top five subjects are considered for the final score, which is why she achieved the maximum of 500 marks, Pattnaik explained.


Teenaa is the eldest daughter of Samir Kumar Rath and Renu Prava Das, both of whom work in the IT sector.


In an interview, Teenaa expressed her gratitude towards her teachers and parents for their support, sharing her aspiration to become a cardiac surgeon to help save lives.


She mentioned dedicating 10 to 12 hours daily to her studies.


Her father, Samir, expressed pride in her accomplishments and stated their commitment to supporting her education in Bhubaneswar for Class XII, with plans to help her prepare for the NEET exam.


Odisha's Chief Minister, Mohan Charan Majhi, took to social media to congratulate all students who passed the CBSE board exams, encouraging them to face future challenges with confidence.


He emphasized the importance of continuous effort in enhancing the pride of both the state and the nation, wishing all students a successful future.


This year, the CBSE implemented two board examinations for Class X students, with the first held in February-March and the second scheduled for May. Attendance for the first exam was mandatory, according to officials.


Over 24.71 lakh candidates participated in the exams, which took place at 8,074 centers, with a pass rate exceeding 93.70%. More than 55,000 students scored above 95%.
