Massive Python Causes Panic in Bihar Residential Area
Panic Erupts as Giant Python is Discovered
The mere mention of a python can send chills down anyone's spine. Imagine the chaos if one were to suddenly appear in a populated area. This scenario unfolded in Bagaha, located in the West Champaran district of Bihar, where the discovery of a python in a residential neighborhood led to widespread panic. Residents were alarmed upon finding a massive python, reportedly around 20 feet long, behind their homes.
Efforts were made by some locals to carefully capture the snake, which was subsequently handed over to the forest department. Since the python's appearance, the villagers have been living in fear.
The incident took place in Ward 28 of the police jurisdiction, where the python was caught behind the house of a young man named Sanjay Kumar. There have been multiple reports of missing chickens and goats in the area, believed to have fallen prey to the python. Fortunately, no humans were harmed, and the capture of the snake has brought some relief to the community.
The python had made its home behind a residence in this urban area, preying on local poultry and livestock. Sanjay Kumar noted that several animals had mysteriously disappeared over the past six months, but the presence of such a large python had never crossed their minds. According to local councilor Ajay Nath, initial fears were high, but after some time, brave individuals managed to subdue the python. Ranger Manoj Kumar explained that pythons can be swept into various areas due to floodwaters.
