Massive Python Causes Panic in Bihar Residential Area

The mere mention of a python can send chills down anyone's spine. Imagine the chaos if one were to suddenly appear in a populated area. Such a scenario unfolded in Bagaha, located in West Champaran, Bihar, where the discovery of a python in a residential neighborhood led to widespread panic. Residents were left in fear after a massive python, reportedly around 20 feet long, was found behind a house. Fortunately, some locals managed to capture the snake with great care and subsequently handed it over to the forest department. Since the incident, the villagers have been living in fear.

The python was discovered behind the home of a young man named Sanjay Kumar in Ward 28 of the local police jurisdiction. Over the past few months, several chickens and goats had mysteriously disappeared from the area, likely becoming prey for the python. Thankfully, no humans were harmed during this incident, and the capture of the python has brought a sense of relief to the community.

The python had made its home behind a residence in a densely populated area of Bagaha, where it had been preying on local livestock. Sanjay Kumar noted that numerous animals had vanished over the last six months, but the presence of such a large python had never crossed their minds. According to local councilor Ajay Nath, there was initial fear surrounding the python, but after some time, brave individuals stepped up to capture it. Ranger Manoj Kumar explained that pythons can be swept into various areas due to floodwaters.
