Fire Incident at Textile Factory
Pali (Rajasthan): A significant fire broke out late at night in a textile factory located in Pali district, causing chaos among the workers. The flames spread rapidly, engulfing the entire facility within minutes. Upon receiving reports of the incident, local authorities and fire department teams rushed to the scene to combat the blaze.
According to reports, the fire ignited suddenly in one section of the factory and quickly escalated. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown, but initial suspicions point towards a short circuit or technical malfunction. However, this has yet to be officially confirmed.
To control the fire, seven fire engines were deployed to the site. Firefighters worked tirelessly for several hours, making approximately 54 rounds of water application to manage the flames. After extensive efforts, they successfully extinguished the fire around 4 AM.
During the incident, all employees present in the factory were evacuated in time, preventing any major casualties. Unfortunately, the fire resulted in the destruction of raw materials and finished goods stored in the factory, leading to an estimated loss of several lakhs.
Local authorities have conducted an inspection of the site and ordered an investigation. They are also assessing whether fire safety regulations were adhered to within the factory.
The incident has created a sense of fear in the area, prompting residents to question the industrial safety measures in place. Currently, a thorough assessment of the damages is underway, and investigations into the actual causes of the fire are ongoing.
