Massive Fire Engulfs Plastic Factory in Bhiwadi's Khushkheda Industrial Area
Fire Breaks Out in Bhiwadi
In Bhiwadi, a significant fire erupted at a multi-specialty company producing plastic items in the Khushkheda industrial area on Sunday morning. The incident occurred around 10 AM at plot number F-621 due to unknown reasons. The factory housed a large quantity of chemicals along with finished plastic products, which contributed to the rapid spread of the flames. Within moments, the fire engulfed the entire facility, and in just half an hour, the factory was reduced to ashes. The damage is estimated to be in the millions.
Upon receiving news of the incident, the RICO fire station in Khushkheda was promptly alerted, leading to the dispatch of fire engines to the scene for rescue and relief operations. The intensity of the fire was so severe that additional fire trucks were called in from nearby areas, including the Bhiwadi Municipal Council and RICO fire station. More than a dozen fire vehicles worked tirelessly to control the blaze. Fire officer Naresh Meena reported that the presence of plastic and chemicals within the factory allowed the fire to spread rapidly, consuming the entire premises.
Thick black smoke billowed into the sky, creating panic in the surrounding industrial area. Firefighters not only focused on extinguishing the main blaze but also prioritized protecting nearby industrial units from the spreading flames. The close proximity of factories in the Khushkheda Industrial Area posed a continuous risk of fire spread. Fortunately, the fire teams managed to contain the situation in time, safeguarding adjacent plants.
Fortunately, there have been no reports of casualties from this devastating fire. However, a precise assessment of the economic losses will only be possible once the fire is fully under control. Investigations are underway to determine the actual cause of the blaze.
