Fire Incident in Thane District

Late Wednesday night, a significant fire erupted in a clothing warehouse located in Thane district, Maharashtra, but fortunately, there were no reported injuries. Officials confirmed the incident.


The blaze occurred in a warehouse situated in a densely populated area of Kalher, Bhivandi.


The Thane control room alerted the disaster management team about the fire at 12:46 AM. Upon receiving the report, firefighters from both the Bhivandi Nizampur Municipal Corporation and Thane Municipal Corporation promptly arrived at the scene.


Yasin Tadvi, head of the disaster management department of Thane Municipal Corporation, stated that the fire was brought under control by 3:30 AM, and cooling operations are currently ongoing. The cause of the fire remains undetermined.
