Fire Erupts in Cuttack's Biscuit Factory
Cuttack: A significant fire incident occurred at a biscuit manufacturing facility located in the Jagatpur Industrial area of Cuttack district, Odisha, on Saturday, according to a fire department official.
While the fire caused extensive damage to the factory's assets, fortunately, there were no reported injuries or fatalities, stated assistant fire officer Sanjiv Kumar Behera.
The cause of the fire is suspected to be a short circuit.
Firefighters successfully managed to bring the blaze under control.
Three teams from the Chauliaganj and Cuttack fire stations were deployed to combat the fire.
